Meet Mary Murphy

Emerging from a desire to start my own business that would help seniors and disabled persons in the community live life to the fullest in their own homes, Hibernian Home Care Service and Home Nursing Service was born.

I envisioned and created a Senior Quality of Life service, including cognitive activities, physical activities, and social engagement, all contributing toward healthy living and healthy aging.

As a licensed RN with over 25 years' experience in the health care system, I am a direct care nurse and nurse leader.

Understanding the challenges that seniors and their families face every day after caring for my own elderly parents, I count it as a privilege to be able to serve the community as an RN/business owner. 

With the belief that seniors in my community should receive supportive care to remain in their own homes if possible, Hibernian's comprehensive care model includes licensed nurses' involvement as case managers and client/family advocates. This support allows seniors with chronic issues to remain at home.
